Frequently asked questions about child bicycle helmets
The helmet should be positioned so that it sits stably on the head without the risk of being pushed backwards onto the back of the neck.
The helmet should cover the forehead and the back and top of the head.
Do not buy a helmet that is too big and then wait for the child to “grow into it”.
The helmet should be easy to put on and remove. It should never be uncomfortable to wear.
Make sure the buckle does not pinch the chin.
When children are old enough, let them pick the color and model of the helmet themselves.
